The “Tsoubes” is traditional tsakonian female attire, which has evolved from the old clothing of noblewomen from Prastos.
”Tzourades” or “Daktilodoudes” the name that is related to the word ring because of the rings with the precious jewels they use to wear.
Tsourades also worn:
1. “Oggiouma”, a silk shirt with embroidered ankle
2. “Vraxani” a dress, fabric green color, buttoned in the middle, it has wide strip of red felt, the “podogioure”
3. “Zipouni” weave jacket with long wide sleeves “ kalkania”
4. “Juba” external robe vest of red felt or satin, worn only by brides and married women of high class.
5. “Tsoubes” robe vest of red felt or satin, worn only by brides and married women of high class
6. “Magliki” silk scarf around the neck , fastened with a gold buckle in diamond cleat, which tightens the waist
7. “Fesi”, two ancestral large braids wrapped around the head, with long rich blue silk tassel
