Evgenia Efstathiou originates from Leonidio, which she often visits. The beautiful nature and architecture of Leonidio encouraged her to experiment and to deal with photography. She is a sophomore student (2015) in the department of Photography at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. Last year she was in Florence, in order to attend architecture, photography and photojournalism lessons.

“A glance in our architectural tradition”

Inspired by the architecture of Italy, she decided to imprint the architecture of Leonidio in this photographic work, in which her aim is to record the details of the local architecture and the wider relationship between architecture and environment.
